why the hell does enemy infinite rage mode when breaking?
im fighting gan ning for the first time as a wu ally. i broke his rage mode and he re entered it. broke it again an he went rage again. third time i used a fatality on him. im not a fan that the ai can get unlimited rage mode until they can use their musou attack

because people are massive fans of dark souls, so now every game has to involve you spamming the dodge button while you wait for an opening to attack. it isnt just gan ning, its going to be every major fight.
Whoevers idea it was to make Dynasty Warriors into a soulslike should be pummeled in the family jewels

These soulslike mechanics are good but spamming rage mode is really dumb... Especially when you fight Lu Bu on hardest difficulty.

It's not like it's hard or anything, it's just annoying. There is exactly one correct way of dealing with infinite rage (rage musou back at them and spam the skills that drain a lot of shields fast), so there's no skill involved.

It's the same with bloated HP bars on higher tier enemies. You drain and assault? Good, now go do it 10 more times.
It's specifically Gan Ning's gimmick to just chain an infinite amount of musou rages on ultimate warrior (not even when low health). Surprisingly not that threatening, but very annoying and sometimes he just...doesn't do that. Kinda weird.

MOST important officers on ultimate warrior will musou rage one time, even if they get it off so consider saving bravery to oneshot it or just let it happen. Then theres Lu Bu that can only be killed by breaking it. Maybe guan yu in haurong pass wei side cause he wouldn't die at zero and used rage, but I broke it first try so I'm not sure.

Also lol at dodging all the time waiting for an opening, you can literally parry mid dodge or attack animation. If you've got the timing, you can just always attack. You can also dodge cancel any move which is very not dark souls. Turns out dodging and blocking are just action games mechanics that predate souls by a few decades.

Are people completely unaware of how the Fortitude system works, or something?
The red boys needed a boss too, since Blue and Green got Lu Bu.

His attacks are still very readable. Parry and counter, Evade and build Bravery, use an ability to drain his shields.

ok wtf. none of this game is like dark souls.
Because it's Gan Ning. I still find him easier than the version of him in Wo Long, that guy can parry you back and execute you instantly, not even Lu Bu Wo Long does that.

People be like Lu Bu Should be hard when it's other officers that should be buffed or nearly have the same treatment in DW. Meh at least they gave Ma Teng War God Rage mode in this game so I forgive.
