Battle of Chibi (Liu Bei) , allies die in seconds after the first wave lands

As title states, (hero mode) allies die a little too fast, no matter which side of the defense you go to and the moment you leave to help, people drop too quickly, as if morale was bombarded with dramatic success arrows

Guard the West side of the map until Jiao Chu's ambush behind the base. Take them out and quickly intercept Yu Jin, Zhang He, and Zhang Liao's assault on Liu Bei/Sun Quan's main camp. Take out some enemies along the path to Zhuge Liang's altar till much later you have to defend Zhuge Liang until the southeastern wind signal. Don't worry, all your officers that were defeated will respawn after the fire attack.

Do the same thing on Ultimate Warrior difficulty

Yeah, for some reason the officers drop like flies on first contact, but I suppose that's part of the plan to lure in the enemy for the fire ambush.
