Eight Gates Question

In the level, the player is instructed to look for something different in order to determine the points of entry. I circled the formation a few times, using Eagle Eyes and normal, and I never really saw anything. I ended up picking the gates that were near the enemy officers outside of the formation, and that turned out to be correct.

Is that the supposed 'difference'? Or is there something else I should have seen but missed?

Yeah I never noticed anything and went in the wrong gate 3 times and broke it apart that way to the amazement of the strategist guy. The boss also says "guess theres no room for strategy" when you do it. Was funny to see the normal scene play afterwards where they say how it would have been impossible without the guys strategy even though I never used it. Didn't even go to secure his vantage point.

I saw some of the flags glowing, and maybe it's my graphics settings, but it looked just like the light reflecting on the trees in the background - when I got close to them with Eagle vision, they weren't glowing for me, so I figured it was just that. Good to know though.

it's actually the wind, you can see the wind blowing in your eagle vision, there's also a sound cue of loud whistles if u are by the gate where the wind blows, enter the gate where the wind indicates and it should be fine. I have to admit it's poorly instructed, I never even thought of using Eagle vision until like 2 mins later when I was still circling outside the formation trying to physically locate a "different gate" and Liu Bei said "your special eye" or something like that that cued me

Enter the gate kill the Enemy. Leave the gate
Repeat 3 times
