I've played a ton of Musos before this one, but honestly on this one the camera is a mess, and 99% of the time you get hit by something coming from somewhere out of the screen and just die overwhelmed by random ♥♥♥♥ and enemies. It looks good, ok, but that's it.

Expecting "skill issue" replies, but I can't see what's not on my screen. I'll go back to the old ones.

100% skill issue.

You can block, dodge, parry, counter with arts, jump into the air, you can heal on command. Like bro, sorry but get gud or play easy and don’t cry.

Camera is def an issue and skill issue comment coming from a cornstar pfp is p ironic.

Anyways we got tons of complains about FOV and I feel like devs just forgot to add the slider, it's waay too close.

saw some preview review of the game getting really high marks, so
I decided to give the demo a try. I too also felt like the camera had big issues.
is there a lock on? I didnt find it yet but I had the same issue of getting slammed from things I cant see

If you watch one of the trailers, it's supposed to be played a little more conservatively than the original Musou games where you just run into a crowd and obliterate everything without a sweat. There's a bunch of additional mechanics being applied in the background (like the morale actually meaning something now). You can now be easily mobbed if you're not more careful. The camera moved in closer is likely something they're using to try to make you go in a little more cautiously.

Lol that is realistic war. you have to keep yourself on your toes not only from see able threats but also unseeable
Auto lock on when you hit or are hit by an officer is an option or you can manually lock on. Making it so the camera focuses in front of you as you move is an option. Block refocusing the camera in front of you--this is what I use--is an option. The camera isn't perfect, but it's always been kinda meh in warriors games. Camera refocus on block has always been my go to for reorienting myself. There are a lot more units attacking you at one time now, which does make it a greater concern to be more aware of what's around you too since officers/soldiers will all actually try to kill you.

As mentioned above, playing more conservatively can help to make things a bit easier, but I play full on aggro like any other warriors game and it works fine. Depending on the weapon you're using, you can cancel almost anything into a parry, evade or counter so it actually makes full on aggro play quite effective.

Yeah the game is bad on every possible level, from camera, graphics, the slow dijointed gameplay, poor voice acting and being completely unpolished as well. It is just a bad bad game.
there is a lock on to officers. I'm playing on a xbox Series controller its the R3 (click right stick) Camera seems just fine to me.
