Its abit rough, the voices themselves are not bad but the delivery could use a rekate or two, they sometimes stop mid sentence as if they had to flip to the next page or something.
The in-battle dialog seems fine altough in typical Mosou fashion alot is going on at once.
Broadly speaking, the most important characters sound good. A vast majority of the side characters are great choices in terms of casting, but some deliveries leave you wondering why they didn't do another take.
Sometimes there are odd pauses in the line readings. It feels like the localizers couldn't quite figure out how to structure the dialogue in English to match the pauses in the original Japanese performance. It'll sound like characters forgot what they were going to say mid sentence, which is suboptimal to say the least.
The only voice actor I'm not a huge fan of is Xiahou Yuan's. I just don't feel like the performance fits that specific character.
It's relatively average, there's a lot of moments where there's awkward pauses mid sentence and some characters do not sound like you'd think (xiahou yuan and zhang fei come to mind).
Basically, they're fine and it doesn't really detract from the story or gameplay as much as you'd think, but it's noticeable.
The way some of the actors read their lines with random pauses through sentences is pretty jarring though, as is the lip sync.
I've tried JP, which IMO generally sounds great, but sometimes I miss updates in battle that way - and it bothers me that due to the different ways JP and China read Kanji that they just obviously say some officers names totally differently. Time to try Chinese I guess.
Just go with the JP dub, as one would go with all Musou games.

No it is not, NOT even close. DW9 was bad but this is much much worse in every category.
gawd what a diva
(i feel bad for writing this post and its like yeh the game has problems but im still having fun and then u have this guy who just hates EVERYTHING and i dont get it xDDD)
You seem to be having a really bad habit of not proving your points and just hating on something for the fact of hating on it. When (by a miracle) you do provide some points, we've proven to you how and why you are wrong and then you go radio silent on that specific post and invade others
Id' say just leave the forum at this point and go play some DW9 since you don't seem to be adding to the conversation on any of these posts going around
