Steam Deck glitching graphics

I haven’t found mention of this anywhere but I was wondering if anyone has ran into this graphics issue as well, where areas on screen are flashing and blocky, exactly like a generic “glitch” graphic in a tv show or game (oddly enough, haha.) I had this same issue with the demo and I was hoping it was just a fluke but no changes to graphics settings/proton settings/etc seem to help. On the world map is the foggy areas that are like this so I thought maybe it was because I had volumetric fog enabled but no dice. I thought maybe it was an HDR issue, since I have an OLED Steam Deck, but no luck there either.

If anyone else has experienced this or has an idea on how to remedy the issue, I would appreciate any ideas! The constant diamond-y flashes on screen give me a headache, so I’m hoping to figure something out soon, as I’m enjoying the game otherwise! Thanks in advance :)

This is fixed when you turn off FSR. The game runs fine without, too!

Hopefully they can fix it, since they went through the trouble of adding a Steam Deck profile!

I agree! The more optimization, the better, especially if there’s a designated “Steam Deck” setting for graphics and everything, like you said :)
