You realize that everything increases in price, right? Game prices go up because it costs more to make them, and it costs more to make them because people need higher salaries, and people need higher salaries because inflation makes everything so expensive. It's called the wage-price spiral. It may or may not be the cause of this, and it's not the cause of inflation itself, but $70 is the price they're charging because they know enough people will buy it at that price and they can return more to their shareholders. I don't like it either but it's what's happening across the board. Corporate greed, etc.

You do know Inflation is a thing, you should be thankful $59.99 even lasted this long.

dont pay no more than $40 for my games, never have never will. UNLESS. its Witcher 3 type sh*t. Ill wait a couple months after a couple patches. thats the SMART thing to do.
