what say you, to me, The Great Consumer?! dost thou cast a tree branch o'er mine head in disdain? i pity thee! for shadows thee may distribute post haste mean nothing in the bask o' the great sun!
i am saying that an audience criticizing a game that is >40 hours for $70 is ludicrous when considering that games used to be <8 hours for $80.
if that was not clear, i am not sure how.
Like, I know you're trolling and "hurr, pretending to be regarded", but c'mon man.
there are 3 normal endings and 3 true endings. There are 10 weapons with 11 ranks each and like 108 techniques. If you just fast track one story and not do any side content the yes it can be short. But if you play the game you will get more than 40 hours out of it. not saying its pricedv correctly but its more than 40hrs
no, it was $79.99 at release. not only can you find that with a quick google search, i remember my parents paying that price at toys r us when i went to get it. and yes, that is true about zelda. but the point i am making is that an eight hour game was $80. not talking about other options. i am specifically regarding an 8 hour game for $80. and we bought that. and played that. and experienced that. and now here we are, in the year of The Orange God, complaining about spending $70 for a game that is potentially five times longer than that of its comparison. i find it to be both hilarious and saddening.
just for even more perspective, that $80 turok game would be roughly $151 with today's inflation. would you rather pay $151 for an 8 hour game, or $70 for a 40 hour game. i am immensely curious.
