controller not working

im using laptop with win11, and i started the game by steam and the game cannot connect and sense my xbox controller, ive been already tried removing all my keyboard and mouse connected while the game starting but still doesnt work. anybody got the same problem like me?

thanks, but didn't work, either with bluetooth or usb.

Right click game in Steam library - Properties - Controller and try enabling and/or disabling Steam input

I did that but still not work even though when I entered settings control in the game the game recognize my controller (ps5) so what exactly I should do?

Try to use the DSX emulator and transform you dual sense input to xinput (xbox 360 controller)

I did that. Also I did all the features of DSX (Native mode, xbox 360 and the other ) and still can't play it by controller.

What controller are you guys even using? With Steam emulation and or DSX most gamepads (I got the f'ing gen 1 Nintendo Switch gamepad working via usb) are compatible unless 15 years old. And even then they should work. I call BS.

It is not related to the controller.

I have tried both the 8bitdo ultimate controller (which works with literally every game i ever tried to play with controller) and tried my official Nintendo switch pro controller wired and both won't work. The game recognizes the controller (it even gives a pop up ingame when I disconnect it) yet not a single input is registered from either.

How about you don't call BS on things you have no clue about

i call bs on your bs. xbox 360 controllers, series x controllers, ps5 controllers, ps4 controllers, all with and without dsx, with and without steam input - NONE OF WHICH ARE WORKING. its absolutely ridiculous the hoops one is jumping through to make these things work. if you dont have any constructive help for people and all you can say is "mY sWiTcH cOnTrOlLeR wOrKs" then just keep it to yourself. people are obviously having issues and if you cant figure that out then youre just plain hopeless as a person

I can't get any of my controllers to work, I've tried both with and without Steam input. I've tried a Xbox, Switch, and Playstation controller to no avail. Hopefully they update the demo at some point.

I finally solved the problem of controllers. just please follow my steps.

1. open steam settings then go to controllers you gonna find devices that been connected (above Controller Name) ''It depend on how many controllers you connected. just off any game rumble you have and keep one controller that you wanna use the game. also on External gamepad settings off everything and leave one on. In example (I used PS5 controller then I just leave Playstation controller support ''Enable''.

2. open the property of the game then go to controller after that disable steam input then exit from steam (logout). Then go back to property of the game in controller just put ''use default settings.

just to be notice that I used DSX
