Update:
Finally beat the demo without crashing after I set launch option with -dx11 and disable Steam overlay.
There were few moments where it might crash like a pop-up tutorial.
It didn't crash when I lowered the resolution one level.
Please make it playable in 4k in the full version.
Disclaimer: I'm not very computer savvy. And mostly throwing this out there for y'allses own troubleshooting.
When the game is set to the lowest resolution and set to Low, the game takes up at least 4.5 GB of Dedicated GPU Memory for me (on top of whatever the OS is using).
At the highest resolution with High settings, the game takes up around 14.5 GB of Dedicated GPU Memory .
If you check your respective Dedicated GPU Memory and Shared GPU Memory usage prior to launching the game - then compare it to your usage once you're at the Battle Preparation / War Council screen.
I couldn't find a clear example on Google or Bing what happens if you tap out your VRAM on an NVidia card. But if you could check what Art of Fury above me suggests to check your temperatures and seeing if your hardware is being pushed beyond its limits.
GPU: Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX™ 4090 MASTER [24G]
CPUCOOLER: Corsair iCUE H150i RGB ELITE
The CPU cooler has been replaced with three Noctua fans, so there is plenty of room for temperature.
The specs don't seem to matter as it crashes at 4k even with this configuration.
