Of course it would have to be single player only.
Here's hoping the sales don't justify keeping the game solo. I'd rather see the series just die if they can't make fun multiplayer games anymore. Make a new singleplayer series set in the Three Kingdoms period and I might think about it, but this looks like a weak attempt to use the name of the series to sell a game that fans of the series never asked to play.
Yeah, there's no co-op, and if you're looking for something like Sekiro, you won't find it here. If you play the Demo, and it doesn't seem like your type of game, you won't be missing anything by not buying the full version.
