Is it just me?
I was playing the game, everything was running fine and all, but there's just one issue im having.

I'm using a ps4 controller and the game tells me how to evade, which is R2. (Right Trigger for xbox)
So I press it, and end up getting smacked, cause he sat there like a deadbeat dad.

So i go and change the Evade button to R1 (RB Xbox), and now I can evade, but I cant use the attack thing (R2 + X)

Am I the only one having that particular issue?

(Note: Yes, my R2 Button works in other games)

Since you can't edit the default steam input given by KT, you'll have to make a duplicate of it that you can edit (export it to a different name), then go to Triggers and map both Full Pull and Soft Pull to the action instead of just Full Pull.

I've been able to evade, but only when I'm locked on and about to get hit. I'm using an 8bitdo and I also can't figure out evade. I've been trying to learn the Parry timing, as it seems more useful at least for most attacks

I also played with DS4 and I didn't experience your issue.
I connect it directly to the laptop if that helps.

It's not that evade is broken it's just that the specific button isn't working for me.

I had it connected with a ubs too, oddly enough.

That's what I mean, when I press Right Trigger on my controller it doesn't do anything. There's only a very small window when the enemy starts their attack that if I press it, it'll actually dodge. I'm wondering if it's just that you haven't gotten the timing. It's been pretty difficult for me to get and I thought it wasn't working for me too, but I've managed a couple times

Actually, no I see what you mean, Right trigger is also being weird for me, I thought it was a timing thing, but no. It's just not consistent. Odd

That worked for me.

Had this problem aswell, it is necessary to do because old DS4 controllers might lose the ability to go "Full pull", you can see this in the testing input menu in steam, my own DS4 was doing a max 27k pull out of 32k, therefore not reading as a full pull. this works, i've also uploaded a community layout that says "fix ds4 R2/L2 for Dinasty Warriors", if anyone else can't figure it out and just need a quicker way to fix it.
