I agree the pausing etc in game was abit annoying, but to be fair I didn't explore the options lol.

Oh, I didn't have any of the PlayStation consoles while growing up so I didn't get to experience those games.

No, I mean like in the actual Battle of Sishui Gate scenario. Iirc, the objective for this battle is to defeat the enemy commander, Hua Xiong, and secure the supply depot or something. Lu Bu is supposed to retreat during this battle. But in this demo, when we faced him, he could pretty much annihilate everyone, including our key commander, Yuan Shao. It doesn't make sense because if he dies it should've been game over.
Other than that, everything else is a step in the right direction for the series.
It's like this because of the demo, it will not be like this for final release.
