Is this the first optimised aaa game of 2024?
Seriously feels like ages since we got one

No kidding, I went from Monster Hunter Wilds beta which was a disaster, to Stalker 2 (thankfully on Gamepass) which is blatantly unfinished, and then to a Koei Tecmo game and THIS ONE HAS THE BEST OPTIMISATION?!

It's really sad when a Koei Tecmo game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the competition performance wise. But I'm happy they seem to be focusing on the PC version rather than just the usual port job.

either the game looks bad or its optimized very well, especially at the end where the whole damn area is covered in soldiers. either way i still think the game looks and runs quite well

Not in my case, I know gtx 1080 is bit older, but it was stuttering quite a bit considering gpu wasn't fully utilized. Maybe it was compiling shaders idk.

Limit the framerate to 60 from the nvidia panel and the game option, vsync option off, vsync Nvidia On. This also fix the stuttering for dialogues cutscenes.

Already using this method for all games expect for 60 fps lock, which shouldn't be ideal as workaround. Maybe it will get fixed.

My bad, didn't mention it was stuttering during intro conversation, during gameplay it was running ok.

So my system is a 3050 gpu and 5900x ryzen cpu and B450M motherboard.. I can only achieve 50 fps on low settings.... how do I fix this

When was the last time you removed dust from your gpu? If you know how to do that do it. If not watch some vids first otherwise you might break your gpu.
Generally speaking you should be good i dont know why you getting 50 fps.

On my 3070 at 1440p using fsr quality and frame-gen and it runs like a stuttering blurry mess. The performance quite literally needs to double before id consider buying it.

I don't know what to tell you, I'm looking at youtube videos of someone playing on a 3050 hes getting 60 fps+ even on high. Do you have any resource intensive programs running in the background like the internet browser?
