XBOX Controller: Half of Input doesn't work

Howdy folks.

I'm trying out the demo for the first time, and oddly, only half of my Xbox controls work. I'm able to Light Attack (X), Move (Left Analog), Strong Attack (Y) and musou (B), but beyond that nothing seems to work.

Right Analog for the Camera doesn't work.
Both bumpers don't work.
Both triggers don't work.

Am I doing something wrong?

using 8bitdo ultimate controller, my right trigger doesn't work. kinda remapped jump into it since i dont jump a lot. other button seems fine

I'm using a PowerA Xbox controller; and yeah, triggers just don't work either.

My controller doesn't work at all
