Do not pursue Lu Bu!

Except Lu Bu pursued after me the entire battle even when i ran base to base looking for meat buns.
I still cannot beat him.

That's kind of the point of him in this demo.
Reminds me of DW5? I think 5, where if you face off with Lu Bu at Hu Lao Gate and then run off he just hounds you across the whole map. It was hilarious.
Then you come back to that fight with maxed out weapons and just sweep him away like a minor general.

play on easy/historian. i sucked at first but iv managed to beat him 4 times.

stock up on SP moves and ultimates & healing items.
the moment he shows up, lock on him and attack him right away.
the moment he'll charge to do a BS attack>>>use the R1+O to cancel it charged and then attack him normally.

repeat the process til he's health is in half or near death,
also don't forget to use the R3+L3 rage mode, you'll do allot of damage to him.

Dynasty Warriors 3 was 23 years ago... So I'd say a fair amount of people might not have played that game.

In all the other games, you had to ignore Lu Bu an go around him because he wasn't defeated in the real battle. Forcing the player to battle him with a new account, forcing a battle loss, is bad on the devs part.

Elaborating would be a spoiler, however the producer has announced that he's only at Sishui Gate for the demo and in the full game version he isn't, while I have seen that Hulao Gate will continue to let you bypass him.
