Was it hard? Or was it just a power fantasy like every other musou game?
DW2-5 was actually hard, not your clustered soldier f0cks that weakling nowadays play DW8-9 and calls it a game. it was still 1 vs 1000 but the soldiers in DW2-5 actually are challenginge
How so? Enemies seem to stare at you.
what difficulties are you playing it on? play it on hard for once and you'll see why privates can kick your butt too
yep, DW2-5 all the soldiers can do charge attack and the major/sergeant can use small musou that's why it's memorable for the difficulty and challenges. The new video of DW Origin, still puts the soldiers with a mix of DW9 but they do seem to have different attack so we'll see if the game is remotely challenging or deserving innovation in praises
The bodyguards for the enemy officers were also difficult to take out, they were like lesser officers being able to combo and perform those musou attacks, made fighting Lu Bu and his Guard rank bodyguards more terrifying as they can stunlock you with those attacks. I miss those bodyguards along with the ones the player can bring along, which could be equipped and customized.
I KNOW! I miss those bodyguards as well, you can have up to 12 if I remember correctly
