I'm pretty sure you'll be able to use the other characters as secondaries. Even so, this game is a spin-off anyways.

Well, the release date is sometime in 2025. A lot can change between then and now. I'm pretty sure they don't have a lot that's confirmed about this game so don't jump to conclusions just yet.

That's not how it works. If it barks it could be a barking duck, but in most cases (if not all) is probably just a dog.

You mean DW9? Because 8 had the most variety of movesets in the entire series.

Even if the story mode is solely from the perspective of the CAW, DW historically has Free Mode, where anything goes. So personally not worried at all.
