I've spoken with people online and some local friends who have played Outlast and almost every person I've spoken with did not know Project MKUltra was a real Project.

CIA Operations, hypnosis / sensory deprivation / isolation experimenting on humans, Nazi scientists, torture, brainwashing so on and so forth.
A suspected CIA mole took the entire project down, most documents were destroyed in order to remove evidence.
Sound familiar? :)
