Problem SOUND

notebook asus a53s. win 7 64bit. 4gb ram, gt540m 1Gb.Fresh drivers (audio, video). sound effects windows are turned off.
sound effects windows are turned off.
in the game take place stuttering, echo, sound overlaps sound and other bugs. lowering the settings doesn't help. May that it must be in the configuration file that change it? Help!

в игре происходят заикания, эхо, звук перекрывает звуком и прочие баги. понижение настроек не помогает. Может что то надо в настроечном файле что то менять? Помогите!

You could try lowering the bit-rate of the audio;

As an example:

Right-click on the speaker icon in your Windows tray (on the task bar), choose Playback Devices, click to hightlight your main speakers output, click Properties button, click Advanced tab, from the Default Format select a lower setting from the drop-down menu, such as 16 bit 48000 Hz, Apply and OK.

Also, have your hard-drive(s) defragged.

Mr. My laptop is quite powerful for this game. I tried already to underestimate the Gz sound, but not so much. I will try to accomplish your goal.

I'm having similar problems to the point that the game is almost unplayable. I'm running it on my desktop which has no problem with other recent games like Tomb Raider and Bioshock Inifinite, but it hates Outlast for some reason. :\
