It would be amazing if the camera actually records all footage, but I don't think it actually works like that. That would require a HUGE amount of space to store all that game play footage.

I was thinking about that while playing. It would have been neat if the game had recorded a save file while your video camera was in use that you could look at in-game at the main menu after beating it, and export to a video file.

That would have been talked about for a very long time indeed as ground breaking.

Ground breaking, and system breaking... It would of required 100's of gigs of storage space, unless it had a built in compressor, now that would of been epic.

I have fraps installed. I'm talking about just what the video camera recorded, as a found footage type thing.

For instance even when Trager takes the camera from you and sets it down if it filmed everything happening. Or if when you drop the camera and it falls through the floor if it ended up recording something horrifying down there that happened before you got there.

Fourth wall breaking type stuff you know.

Aside from helping you to see in the dark, or to zoom-in on something, recording things of interest with the camera my unlock more Notes as you play-through the game.

Well, I think that's one reason why it took me longer to play through the game than most, as I let myself become immersed in the game, and despite some of the fear, "I" was still a journalist / reporter, so I spent a lot of time "recording" most things throughout playing the game (sometimes taking the extra time to zoom in on an inmate, or a picture on a wall, etc...).
