Do the baddies ever search your hiding spot?

Game is looking interesting and I've looked up a few gameplay videos but the one thing I have noticed is that the bad guys never search the place you're hiding unless they see you go in there. Is this true? Sounds a bit less scary when you know you're completely safe.

yes, they will search your hiding spot. I have recorded footage to prove this too

Yes, they do sometimes!
It can be really scary... Just when you think you're safe in a locker or under a bed, then *Bam* They found you! 8-o Then if you're lucky to get away, run yer butt outta there as fast as you can! :p

Haha I got caught a lot of times, it's so frightening. You run away from them and you hide behind a closet door. They come open it and you have no chance to run away because you're cornered haha. Love it

If you hold shift, and move towards there right or left side you will be able to get past them

Or, sometimes if I was caught, if I seemed trapped then I tried crouching down, I was sometimes able to somehow slip past them, then stand back up and run like mad :p

I thought they didn't too, but I got caught by the doctor hiding undder a bed with the door closed.

Yeah, they do. I thought they didn't so I would always relax once I found a hiding spot, but I as proved wrong haha

Yes, but not often enough to immerse you, usually checking 3-4 other spots adjacent ignoring the single spot you're in.

Yet another so called informed opinion from someone who doesn't own nor played the game.
Actually, in my experience of playing through the game, I'd say a baddie searching for me found me about 30% of the time, so that was often enough that I never really felt quite "safe" while hiding.

You need to just play it haha when ure cowaring in a locker or under a bed or inn pitch black in the sewers you will wish you had a pump action shotgun or sumin ... all in all you will wish you never bought it , tbh im sturggling to decide if amnesia is still top or not , machine will be the ultimate decider ... gunna need some new pants :/

I remember running to the locker, him opening the first, then walking off. Same thing happened, but he opened the second one first and got me... END

I found that hiding in a dark corner was more effective than under a bed or in a locker.

One of the best moments for me was hiding from the doctor with the huge scissors. He checked under the bed next to me, and I managed to switch to that bed before he checked under my bed. Scary ♥♥♥♥.

Lol! Hey, I did the same thing. It was nerve-wracking and scary, and I though for sure he'd see me or catch me. :p That "Doctor" I think was one of the best, or scariest / creepiest "Bosses" I've encountered in a Survival-Horror type of game.
