Did they honestly bleep out swear words? That would be a poor move that would break away immersion. Well, there are already enough immersive breaking elements. There shouldn't be censorship when the game rating is for an adult audience and clearly if parents don't want kids to see this stuff then they shouldn't allow their kids to buy it.

Maybe they could only use males for the experiments, so they only took in males.

Maybe all of the dead bodies you can't identify are the female inmates that have been overpowered by the males after getting out.

Maybe the experiments included a lot of testosterone, making them into males, or at least unidentifiable as women.

Maybe....maybe the women were killed because of the religiousness of the inmates and the priest included that all women are evil.
