Its takes an average of about five hours to beat. Could be more or less depending on how you play it. I doubt anyone could beat it in less than four on a first playthrough, though. Even with just running through it all.

Yep, depends on how you play. Myself, I took my time to immerse myself into the game, explore all of the places I could, read the various notes & documents I gathered, sneaking & hiding from attackers (or sometimes just madly running away from them), a few times I kinda got "lost" in the dark, or I wasn't quite sure of where to go next, and some parts I had to repeat a few times before I got it right... so overall it took me around 10 hours to play through.

a bit more than 6 hours considering you can take your time to review the surroundings, explore and read. If people think the game is overpriced for the length, they are wrong. A typical movie in the cinema is 8$ for 1.30h, here you got 5+ hours which is more than what you would pay when you go to the cinema.

And it's better than a movie ;-)

Takes about 4 to 5 hours if you aren't rushing it. If you take your time, it can be a bit longer but not by much. If you rush it, I imagine you can probably finish in under 4 hours.

I'd say 5-6 hours.

I think it depends on how fast you go through the game. I basically walked (Apart from being chased :P ) through the game and it lasted 4 hours.

True.

Best to have an amazing short experience rather than a long drawn out boring one.

probably 3-4

I feel I'm nearing the end since I've been told to go outside because "it" is almost done
the problem is it's so easy to run to explore the area then hide till someone leaves

It's not terribly scary for the whole time playing like I thought (hell I used to be unable to play the original Slender game), I'll get jump scared then say F THAT GUY and run (I literally had a guy decide to not move from his patrol, right on the other side of a desk in a hallway that you have to jump over, after a while I was like YOLO MUTHAFUKKAH and jumped right over him lol (I'm extremely sarcastic about the things I said but not the actions)
