Report a translation problem
If you have/still doesn't work try this:
1. go to steam library
2. right click on outlast
3. select properties
4. under the 'general' tab, click on the button that says 'set launch options'
5. Type '-d3d9' (without quotes)
6. launch the game.
From the fault module name, it seems to have something to do with DirectX, you have 11, this runs using 9. could be possible you havn't got DX9 installed, try installing it. Just type DX9 into google and it will give you a link. Let me know if any of these work
I read this forum Steam! From the developer!

Fix for issues launching the game
We've just activated a new patch to work around the issue some players were experiencing when launching the game.
On some 64 bit systems the game would not launch, showing a brief black window possibly with a cryptic error "0xc000007b".
Most affected players should find that the game now runs with the new patch.
If the issue persists however, an option has been added as a workaround. From the Steam library, right-click on Outlast, select "Properties", then click on "Set launch options", and type in "-32" (without the quotes). This will instruct the game to run in 32-bit mode even on a 64-bit platform, which should work just the same but bypasses the issue with incompatible 64-bit system libraries.
If you still experience any issue, please email us at support@redbarrelsgames.com.
Our apologies if you were affected by this problem and thank you for your understanding.

Goodluck !
If you have launched Outlast, check for crash information, then check for wrong file. If it shows off .dll file, this will not work. If it says: OLGame.exe, then uninstall the translation you have previously installed (I have installed slovak translation). It can be caused by wrong installation of translation (I installed two packs in that launcher) or by the translation itself.
