Laundry Chute Trouble PLEASE HELP!!

Hey guys.. I'm in the womans ward.. i am at the part where i have to get 3 fuses for the laundry chute.. there is a key on the guard inside it.. i put the 3 fuses in and open the door but i cant get the key fast enough.. it drops to the bottom i do not see any way of getting it.. if anyone is having a problem with this please tell me! thank you

You have to go back to the laundry room one floor down. You had to go through there to get to where you are now.

But there is a guard blocking the way to the way to the laundry room, how do I get past him?

use the fuses to open grate to key it drops down to laundry, go back down 1 floor go into laundry room click on grate there grab key, run back upstairs jump the gap again use key on stairs going up
