or you play this in the middle of the day with the volume on minimum.

Try playing this at night, with all the lights out, with headphones, high volume, and when you're home alone. You will want to straight up unplug your PC.

or you just ran through it/speed ran (me). i still have no idea what the name of the protagonist is lol but i beat the game. also it wasn't scary. it's all a matter of opinion and of course how you play games etc <3
EDIT: with that said it still was a great game and an adrenaline rush, for me, it was like parkour but being chased by things in the dark. can't wait for whistleblower!

It's true, if you take some time to soak in the environment, it helps the scares take hold, so when something nasty is going down, it's that much more effective.

Speeding from A to B to C get's things done, but it's best if you stop and smell the blood red roses.

Me and a buddy have started a recording a Let's Play of it, and so far there's been good scares and tense moments.

I walk around and look at everything, even though my gut tells me not too because I know something bad is going to happen. I have to make myself actually go forward in the mission, cause this game is freakin' scary!

I didn't find it scary, everyone has different fears and crazy people chasing me isn't one of them or being alone in the dark. But, don't get me wrong the game is really fun and I really enjoyed the story. I'm not lying, 100% truth.
