/// Outlast Film grain remover (texture MOD).
To remove the Film Grain Texture.

This works using Texmod software (tested on x86 game exe):

UPDATE: Added instructions + example bat file.

Good luck ;)

NOTE: This only remove the texture of grain... does not touch the DOF :)

Or I could remove it with a .ini edit.

on ConsoleVariables.ini
; [Startup]
; ImageGrain = 0.0

Did not work for me...

And when you disable the DOF, also remove some effects on games.

With this you only remove the grain texture. :)

Sadly this didn't work, such a pity I thought I'd finally found a way to get rid of the pointless and immersion breaking grain filter. Even using the ini method it's still there to a degree :(

If I was a Terminator I wouldn't have an issue with it but since I'm a human with clear eyesight I hate it. Don't mind it on camera view though.

Do you still have the instructions? the bioware forums are discontinued or something, and i cannot find that .bat file or the instructions. The mirror link just has the .tpf mod file without any instructions
