About the whistleblower ending... (Spoilers) (duh)
Dont get me wrong, it was a decent ending, but i kinda wish you were given the choice of not uploading miles and parks footage. I mean yeah it would have made miles's death pointless, but hey, maybe I wanted to go back to my family and just keep mount massives wrongdoings a secret.

I was under the relitive illusion that you could? Can you not just wait instead? It'd make an interesting choice at the start aswell.

It'd of been funny if the australian had shot you or something and uploaded it anyway... I was half-expecting him to be Murkoff before I hit upload

Because it isn't an RPG. You're given a goal and you accomplish that. Everyone would have figured it out regardless because Miles would have slaughtered everyone continiously until the outside world noticed.

Actually, it's only Park's footage. Miles camera is still with him, and we dont know what happend with him after DLC ends. All we know is that he made it out alive and presumably, managed to keep The Walrider under control.

Didn't it seem like Walrider/Miles let Park escape?

Not really. You could clearly see that Walrider was moving to supposedly kill or incapacitate Park.

I think isn't true, near the end of the dlc we saw a building in fire, so i think that the building is the church where Martin dies, if is true Miles is dead yet and let Park escape trough the Walrider

They only give you the option to send/upload in game so you'll feel like a bonifide azz whole through the entire game, and further reinforce our dissastifaction at the end. It works surprisingly well

He seemed to let park escape, as he killed Blaire and could have easily just killed park, and when you get in the jeep he doesnt seem to stop you, only he wants to be free..

Anyone else get the wikileaks Julian Assange feel from that last scene? Seems like an intentional nod to people like Snowden. Assange is Australian after all and so is the man at the end. And he even gives you the speech about how your life will be over when you upload. Yeah, not to veiled reference there...

I dont know if anyone noticed but at the end of whistleblower when Park first gets in the jeep and points the camera toward the asylum. You zoom in and see a dark figure kind of limping. I kind of pictured that as miles.

Of course it was Miles at the end, I don't get how anyone could not have noticed since it's in plain freaking view. And no he wasn't attacking him, it's quite obvious that Miles has taken control over the Walrider and is turning around the car to help Waylon escape. Otherwise, why would he have killed Blaire but not Waylon?
I think the reason the Walrider was "evil" in the first place is because it was controlled by Billy, who was insane just like all the other variants. It's strongly implied throughout the documents in the main game that even though the inmates worship it as a god, the Walrider is merely a storm of nanobots controlled by a human "host" - nothing supernatural about it. Billy, being criminally insane but unable to move, thus took advantage of his control over the Walrider to fulfill his violent urges. As a result, once Miles took control of the Walrider, he killed Wernicke and the soldiers out of rage, and then helped Waylon get the truth out as they shared the same goal. So, even though he is doomed, Miles at least gets the satisfaction of burying Murkoff through Waylon's testimony. Just my two cents, but I thought it was rather obvious.

XD when I finished outlast, i was like "NOOOOOOOOOO MILES! WE WENT THROUGH THAT SH*T FOR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooo" then since my DLC wont work, I watched the ending on youtube. and i was like. What. In. The. Actuall. Frick?

you are completely right tho, i mean whisteblower didnt now miles died, so yeah, miles did that for nothing, but I bet if whisteblower knew that miles would die lator, he wouldnt send the email.

If Murkoff knew any had survived they would have hunted down Waylon anyways so good for him for releasing the evidence.
