Outlast won't launch on Mac

Been trying to launch it several times and it just makes it to a black screen. I've restarted laptop and Steam and verifyed the game cache many times.

What do I do? I just bought it to... ;w;

I'm having a problem launching it too. It just becomes unresponsive once it opens. No clue why. I really wanted to play it and now I can't after I bought it.

Yea...it makes me sad...and I've been trying to refund it to no avail.

I figured it out.

Uninstall it and re-install it.

It takes a while to load up though, so just wait for the 5 minutes after you open the game.

Just send a refund request my friend. I got my money back after a few days.

It works for me fine now. I don't need to refund it haha.
Plus, one day when I'm not too much of a wuss, I'll play more of it. Slowly...

Fix; Play this without internet (Restart Steam then run in "Offline Mode") then it should work fine (No more black screen at start or anything)
