Can I use a controller?

More specifically, a 360 controller or any logitech gamepad. Or is this game mouse and keyboard only? Couldn't check and see for myself because my current PC is a piece of crap.

Yes you can. I use an Xbox 360 controller for most of my games because I'm originally a console gamer making the slow transition to PC. So yes, an Xbox controller that can be plugged into a USB port can be used.

If this is true then how do we get it to work in Outlast specifically? Going to options in the game only has keyboard support. When we map the controller we lose 6 functions.

I figured it out if you're using a Logitech controller.

Open the Logitech software, set the profile for the game (all you have to do is make a new profile and browse to the game's launch file, no mapping), then start the game from the Logitech gamepad software. It'll start Steam and everything. =)
