IS ALL THIS REAL???
I think this game is based on a true story but im not sure. Plz say if it it based on a true story.

Its based on the 19th and 20th century. I don't think the place or the events that happen are real. But the idea around it is. Trapping insane people in a building to " kepp them away" from society and then experiment on them did happen.

It was inspired by the very real MKUltra program, which was when the government was funding horrible, torturous, inhumane tests and experiments on mentally unstable patients. It was supposed to be kept secret, but details were basically leaked.
