why not add for Xbox360 and ps3
since you add outlast on pc Xbox one and PS4, since xbox one pretty new, more people have xbox 360 and ps3 than xbox one and ps4 so maybe you could add outlast on xbox 360 and ps3 so more people can play it rather than having to buy xbox one to get outlast i no hater i love outlast i got it on my laptop but pretty lagy and it better to have it on a consle please add it on to xbox 360 and ps3 if u don't agree with me tell me in the comment

The games engine cannot be run on the old gen consoles. The hardware is far to old to run it.

I suppose your right yes games are still coming to Xbox 360 so I guess it boils down to the developers just didn't find the old gen profitable maybe or didn't want to spend the time to port over to old gen? I actual can't find any logical reason not to port it over to 360 and PS3 but I don't work for Red Barrel so I have no idea what the actual reason is.

Maybe, i've never played Outlast on console just PC so they might be doing just that and then working on a port over for 360 and PS3. You never know right, might be a suprise for later on in the future that it is on 360 and PS3. It seems like it would be very profitable for the company if they did that.
