Does closing doors attract the person trying to kill you?
Well, considering he slams it shut...

Close it quietly? If you hold the button an push the walking keys, think he closes doors quietly

Nah he always slams, but on the brightside the enemies never run at it. They just turn around and walk at it

To be fair, they're all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy, do you really expect them to be logical?

it also helps as a game balance perspective

Outlast 2 has more logical enemies, and yet it’s still easy to finish as all of em ♥♥♥♥ are slower than you, for some reason...

To give you a chance? if they were faster than you then they'd all kill you the moment you stopped to open a door or tried to climb into a vent

My point is, if devs really want ppl to find a use for lockers and beds, they should make the chaser faster or as fast as you. It’s just their fade being ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, not their legs

fair, but most people don't realise that they can just run through everything, so its still scary for them

They’ll realize at one point after like 30 mins that they can easly outrun enemies. Especially if theres a dlc for the game and u already know what to expect

You'd be surprised actually, most people don't notice.

If you already know what to expect you'll have played it before. I imagine majority of people only play it once and then likely not again. The average person is very unlikely to realise you can sprint through the whole game

Have you witnessed Nick sprinting on nightmare/insane mode? That is the stuff of nightmares.

I finished the game on Nightmare, tho I never tried Insane. But I’m just sayin. Like, you have to agree with me that enemies being much slower than you just makes it way too easy. You can just run away from the enemy and hide in a locker, while if enemies were as fast as you, you could try to stealth it instead of not being afraid of being caught. Especially with the crouching bug and the vaulting doom for enemies
Believe me, you aren't outrunning Nick when he does a full sprint (I don't think he does it normally since the AI utilises the arrows most of the time). It's basically lightning speed.

No, I don't mean Marta. I mean Nick, as in the big guy that Laird rides on.

I have been wondering that myself to be honest. I know walking in water attracts their attention because it makes noise, but you would think slamming the doors would definately cause some....unwanted attention from them. :steamfacepalm:
