Help! Controller non-responsive??

I'm playing outlast on my PC with a Xbox controller and only the left stick is working!
It was fine before, but i don't know what's changed. I have check the game setting and steam settings and everything seems fine

Having a similar problem.Last played this game in June of last year.Worked flawlessly in Windows 10 with wireless Xbox 360 controller.Decided to finish off whistleblower today.Unable to use camera with controller.Every other controller assignment works. Tried Xbox 360 wired and wireless also tried wired Xbox one controller.Changing the different type contoller settings in menu didn't help either.Sorry i can't help you but I feel your pain.

Nah. It still works. You just need to disable the steam xbox one config thingy in fullscreen mode. Then unplug your controller and replug it in. It works then.

Why? Becouse steam has made something that takes control over your input. That system is making many games not work correctly whit its input.
Just turn that off and your good to go.
