Yeah, that is hugely unfair for everyone that was told “if you own TOTAN, you will have it after June 30th” and then MANY people asked “what does that mean?” And it was abundantly clear that if you simply have TPA installed, the free TOTAN was yours to keep.

Who’s decision was this?

Not everyone that was told that they own TOTAN will see this message in time. FarSight and WMS will need to reconsider this decision.

I guess this is yet another reason to grab Season 1 above all else... but this does not make it fair to everyone that specifically asked if they owned TOTAN by simply having TPA installed.

I know they probably don’t care but WMS is fostering A LOT of ill will towards their brand. People hate FarSight for a bunch of fair reasons but I feel like FarSight is also stuck in the crossfire of this failed licensing agreement. WMS is probably pulling a lot of strings and doing a poor job at looking like the good guys.

FarSight had a WMS license for a decade now they released Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection in 2008. It's normal for licenses to have a limited duration with an option to renew.

Aaand that's probably the problem right there. See, in 2013 WMS wase acquired by Scientific Games Corporation and fully merged into that company in 2016.
As to why SCG doesn't want to (heh) play ball? Your guess is as good as mine. Perhaps SGC wants to use the licenses elsewhere, or they're just not interested in doing anything with the WMS pinball IP's

Oh man, after I heard TOTAN will stay in your library I bought some single tables from Season One. What a waste of money it would be to pay again for this Season when I aready own almost all tables I want from it. At least let me buy the single table. Just before I've read this message I bought again A single Table pack from S1. Sad!

Buy the launch pack of 4 tables for $8.99. Tales of Arabian Nights and theater of magic are some of my favorites so that's probably what I'll be getting.

Ok didn't know that was the Launch Pack. Thought it was some kickstarter stuff. Actually I bought Theater of Magic before but didn't noticed it's called Launch Pack and that the TOTAN table will be inside. Thanks

I usually totally ignore sticky threads on Steam for any news. It was just a coincidence I saw it. Maybe someone should post it in the default section. Or FarSight should put it into a news popup before some people will get angry.

We have a solution. I would suggest that anyone with a grievence in regards to being given the wrong information about TOTAN should contact our support email: [e-mail]
Our support team is pretty cool and I think they might be fairly accomadating to people who were effected.

i don't understand, i downloaded the game yesterday and the mentioned table is a free table which is my only table i own ingame..

so u want to say u want to take away my only one table? oO

Better late than never! That table has been free-to-play since 2013 but you don't currently own it, so yes it will be removed.

Play all the free table trials whilst they're still available and buy the ones you enjoy, but I would strongly recommend at least Season 1 if you have any interest in pinball.

If you want to play the machines for longer than that, you have to buy them - either the Table Pack the table was released in or the entire season it belongs to.
