General Hoesslein missing in Mission 3: Halfaya pass

For some reason I decided to restart mission 3 mid-mission because I wasn't satisfied with how it had turned out so far. At that point, I had already found the war diary indicating the secondary objective, to kill the general. His location showed up on the map

However, when I restarted the mission that objective is gone. I have made it to the third cannon where the general is supposed to be but he's not there. Since the war diary was already been picked up in a previous playthrough, the mission trigger doesn't happen. Is this a bug?

sry about the late, i found this through google. as im wonder why i didnt have that optional objective too. after all the search and finding some guide, this objective is trigger based.

you have to trigger this mission on the vid @ 01:03 and @ 02:52. Then the guy should appear.

p.s u must had to trigger the second file before proccess to final flak gun
