games cool, but how does a sniper take out a tank

Yeah that's pretty dumb. With a PanzerSchrek or an AT mine, sure. With a sniper rifle? I don't think so. They made lots of bad decisions in this game. For a so-called sniper game I'm sure spending a lot of time sneaking around stabbing people or shooting them with a silenced pistol. Others have called it "Pistol Elite III", I can't really argue with that.

Use your Binoculars, the weak points will be high lighted RED, (on the rear of the tank plus the drivers slit). Be warned unless you have armour piercing rounds it takes more than one shot.
As soon as you fire the first shot move (rapidly) to another location as the tank will take you out in one.

I know that, i was just commenting at the absurbity of destroying a tank with a rife

All tanks,armoured cars,trucks,cars.and motorcycles in WW2 run on gasoline.Alternate fuels did not come out until after WW2.Tanks,you will kill ,or badly injure the driver with a shot thru the driver's viewport located on the left front of the tank. To kill a tank,armoured car,truck,car or motorcycle,you shoot the gas cap on the vehical.To kill a tank thru the front viewport,you need anti-armor bullets and close range firing( like,under 50 meters ),and the proper angle for the bullet to kill the tank.Panzer 1,2,and early 3's had the auxillery fuel tank just behind the driver. Panzer 4,Tigers,and Panthers had heavier armor just behind the driver,so,only a panzerfauz or bazooka will kill the tank,at this point.

I agree with the Pistol Elite joke. It really feels like to get the best sneakiness out of the game either you wait 20 seconds between shots for muffled sound, which btw sometime planes fly over and no sound noise is muffled, of you bust the pistol out. Kinda sucks, i like long range sniping, not waiting forever for mufflednoises.
