Cant find clues to safe combination in kasserine pass

I have played this mission 5 times, and cant find the officer with the clues. Help!!!

Press TAB and it's always showing you your objective around. If nothing works, close your game and verify your cache files integrity.

If memory serves me correctly, once u have interacted with the safe & it wants the combination, you then have to leave the temple/building you're in & head outside & go left. Then work your way clockwise around the cliff/mountain killing more soldiers & one sniper as u go. One of the last men u kill in this area, will be a Major or a Colenel, & when u search his body, you find his diary/journal containing the combination. Your objective at this point will change to "save Brauer" or something like that, & once u have done that, u head back to the temple/building containing the safe, over-come the defenders that have arrived & are now guarding it, & once u kill all of them u head inside to the safe & interact with it. This will trigger the cutscene. Job done.
Like EagleWatch said, just follow your objective markers by pessing "TAB" if you're not sure of which way to go & what to do. Good luck.
