Reticle

Anyone know how to unlock the German 1A Wide reticle? Or how far into the game you get it? Cant stand the default choices.

Thats lame.... I want to use it as I play through the missions. Not after I beat the game or as im about to finish it. Not gonna replay any of it.

i personally am going for achievements so for my first playthrough im at mission 3 on Authentic difficulty and im level 14 now already out of at least 31 (an achievement for reaching level 31) so if i dont already have it i suspect i wont have beaten the game by the time i do :P

Edit: Just opened the game to check and i am halfway through level 14 still at mission 3 Authentic and i have the German 1A Special and Fine but not the wide so it must be unlocked later than level 14 :P

Already past the point where you stop getting items from lvling so your theory was wrong. 15+ atm and on last mission. Didnt get reticle. Dissapointed.

You also get items from looting corpses, from the way i play im always trying to sneak around and taking every single soldier out and then looting every single corpse as i go just incase i get an upgrade or whatever from them, dont know if this would help you or not too ?

Yea ive been following a guide video collecting all the weapon parts on each level. Still a no go on the German 1A Wide.

Like I said. Reticles unlock as you level up. There might be some levels you'd get nothing. I wouldn't be surprised. The last reticle I got was the German 5C Post by hitting level 31.

Oh and all those guides online, it's for collectibles only and such (optional objectives, war diaries, collectible cards, sniper's nests, longshots and weapon parts. Weapon parts/binoculars upgrades are not reticles.

The only way there is to unlock reticles is to keep levelling up. Don't say my theory was wrong if you haven't tested it thorough. No doubt there is some levels you'll get nothing.

I'm just trying to be helpful here. You had a question, I answered to the best of my 600+ hours of knowledge in this game.

Unfortunately, this doesn't give you any reticles. Looting certain enemies will only weapon parts (mainly scopes for the M1 Garand, Carcano, Gewehr 43 and Lee Enfield Mk. III sniper rifles) and binoculars upgrades.

Ah ok i have only just bought this game during the steam sale 2015 and im on my first playthough mission 3 so i had just noticed alot of stuff popping up while looting corpses. so the only way to get reticles is to level up thanks :P

That fact that I cant find a single list that shows what you get for each rank is pretty sad.

I feel you. Keep playing and you'll unlock them somehow. If you want, you could add me. The best way to earn xp fast is to play coop-survival. More enemies, and the total team score at the end is divided by 2, making your experience gain.
