No Kar98 in SE3? Your Opinion on Weapons

Such a bummer.... I was a master with the Kar. What do you think of the current weapon build?

I think that its unbalanced. The DLC weapons, mainly the mosin and the silent pistol, are way too overpowered. And there isnt a silent SMG, so you need to carry one of the silent pistols, making the rest pointless. It is cool to soo a panzershrek tho.
I do with for MORE, though. It would be cool to see a springfield, a Kar, and maybe some other super nerd things, like all those guns that noone has ever heard of that was made by the Aussis or the Canadians

Hmm, I can't speak for any extra DLC gamers,but from what I see... I'm reaaally let down that the Kar isn't included. The Kar was practically 'standard issue' for german Nazi's... and it's one hell of a piece of weapon engineering, too. Simple, elegant, DEADLY...

Not to mention the zoom capability of that mofo!!!!

They removed half of the weapons from the game to sell them as DLC.
This makes my blood boil,they realy piss me of with this Weapon DLC.

PC game publishers are trying so hard to stop piracy but, they release DLC's that require payment for a weapon model,sounds,animations,& bullet physics... idk about you guys but, this makes me want to pirate the DLC more so than if they released it in the main game...

Not that I condone that kind of behavior but C'MON!

Yeah the Kar98 not being including feels rather crappy, especially with the g43 which would barely (if at all?) been in the africa campaign, not to mention the rifles we get seem very limited, four feels a bit lightweight.

Especially with my other choices being some rifles I personally really dislike, especially for sniping (Being the garand and that italian one)

So far, the Italian rifle is the closest to the Kar... but I'm only 3 levels in....

To be honest, it's disappointing as ♥♥♥♥ they did all that 0 day DLC, you know, when they cut content from the game to sell it at an additional price.

Never the less Rebellion is one of the better, or less worse, companies out there when it comes to DLC, at least they put it on the same discount as the goty version, unlike some other companies out there like Bethesda that have made shagging their early adopters a business of its own.

I agree, Rebellions has done well with SE3. It's just a shame that I have to pay currency for a weapon

the lee is pretty good tho but i still love the kar more if it was included maybe there will come a dlc with the kar in it

4 sniper rifles in a Sniper game, it is indeed unbelievable.

-The Garand is ♥♥♥♥ thanks to its damage.
-Carcano has an ugly recoil, add instability and there you go folks, the Carcano.
-G43 in Africa? Rebellion must be high. The African campaign was over in May 1943, and the G43 production started in October 1943 so does that make any sense?.
-Lee is ugly and no one i know would think of using it as a sniper rifle, but still the best one (or better say the only decent rifle in game) and i guess it's just for the fact that its british (Rebellion and their patriotism).

So good job Rebellion, thank you so much for selling us a game with 4 awful rifles and force us to spend MORE money to solve the biggest lack this game has.

My first thought was were the Fook is the Springfield 1903.that was used as standard US sniper to the vietnam war,the m1 garand sniper was not liked with its offset scopemount.

I defintely did find the lack of weapons underwhelming. I feel sequels should add more content and refine mechanics from previous games. While this certainly did well in the latter, the former is frustrating.

The Deliste Carbine (modified lee enfield that is silenced and shoots .45 ACP)
Springfield 1903
Silenced K98k with Kurzpatrone
SVT-40

especially the deliste carbine would be awesome ;)
