nvidia Inspector + Frame Rate Limiter --> GPU overheat
With all of my games I use the nvidia Inspector and limit its fps to 60 while having vsync off.
I do this with Insurgency, Battlefield 4, Diablo III, Doom 2 and all those games dont get my GPU temperature higher than 60degrees.
Unfortunately Sniper V3 is pushing my GPU to over 80degrees while using nvidia Inspector + fps limited to 60 + vsync off. All the ingame settings are reduced to low btw.

So two points needs to be mentioned here:
1. Bad optimized game
2. Wait for a patch that optimises performance (wheter it is coming from nvidia or rebellion)

Thanks.

I don't mind loud fans. I can alway turn up the volume or put on headphones. I'll take performance/low heat over quiet fans ANY day. Hehe.

80c isn't good at all. It's ok for a while, but not for hours.

Depends on the max. temperature a particular GPU can sustain.
I have a 780Ti SLI and the game crashes when the first GPU reaches 70°, totally unacceptable. I have to play @ 1080 instead of 1600p because of this.

I actually use nvidia inspector to limit the temperature to a safe 85 degrees max as my laptop gtx760m tends to shut down if I let it go to 96 degrees which does happen in some heavy games. I did notice however that as long as nvidia inspector is active the temperature doesn't go below 58 degrees so my fans keep going unless I close the program.
