Can we kill Rommel?

The sniper games are my favorite because their all about killing Nazis. Is there any plans For a Rommel DLC or is killing Rommel in the game? For those who dont know Rommel was one of the most hated Germans of WW2 earning the nickname the Desert Fox. Rommel was a German who killed scores of freedom fighting allies with no remorse so I think it would be fitting to see it in the game to get some payback, or maybe a DLC?

Never claimed to be a history buff, but everyone knows Rommel was the head Nazi in charge of the Nazis in the Afrika Korps . Hence if the game is in africa I think a mission pack taking him down a peg would fit in with the game?

As far i know the Afrika Korps were the nicest german soldiers. Also, you should know that not every german was a nazi.

I can think of a plenty of Nazis I'd rather kill before this one. Not being a history buff is fine and neither am I but it's hardly a reason to say

Rommel might be the only Nazi general that I wouldn't mind having had dinner with, he ignored orders to kill commandos, captuired Jewish soldiers, and civilians, his Afrika Corps, was never charged with any type of war crime, unlike most others. He agreed to commit suicide after taking part in a plot against Hitler, because it was promised that his family would be left alone if he did. He cared about his family, and was an all around good guy, admired by many on the Allied side, I doubt they would have tried to kill him if they could have.

I hope not. If you can the makers of the game are nazi's. Rommel was a German general. But not a Nazi. In face he plotted against Hitler along with Von Staufenberg. He was executed for this. Rommel and Von Staufenberg were heroes who tried to stop Hitler.

'Nazi' isn't just some vague 'terminology' to be bandied about for all german 'soldiers' You had to sign up for membership to the Nazi Party and as Rommel didn't he wasn't one. It's that simple.

Inversely There was also at least one Humane Member of the Human Party: Oskar Shiendler (I probably butchered that spelling) Brig, You might want to read up and learn that not every conflict is so one-sided

They weren't all Misygonistic, Slave owning, Racists, Granted a good deal of them were, but theres always 2 sides to every story

Well I wouln't have a problem with it. I'm sure he was a standup guy, but so are a lot of the grunts we're killing. If it was in the game I'm surte it would be just business, not any sorta silly pulpness like the hitler dlcs.
