Informant stuck on fort rifugio mission

I've gotten to the part on the fourth mission where you free the informant and you have to cover him as he goes to the exit, but he always gets stuck near the exit and keeps waiting for no reason, I've shot every vehicle and every enemy and he's just crouching there. Any ideas?

Yeah, it does that. I've had the same issue but eventuall, he moves.

Huh, weird. Should I just sit and wait for a while?

@ Slavik King: HunterKiller is correct... yes, he will eventually move & exit through the gate. Pat yourself on the back though... if you're waiting for him, it means you've done a great job quickly killing all the enemies!
