That worked. Thank you.
It's not a big deal really, just start a new game if that is what u wish to do and when u save, over-write the old saves.
i've faced this problem weeks ago and posted here no one responded to me, that's what i've done:after you delete the pc profile saves from my document, you need to delete this saves steam/userdata/195064083/238090/sniper3/profile saves. and all saves gone for me !! hope it helped you.
1) steam/userdata/ugcmcgcache
2) steam/userdata/238090/remote/newplayerprofile.cld(many of those)
I would like to play the missions in random order. By this I mean, do the first mission and then take a look at the other missions, so that, you can choose which mission to play without having to do them one by one.
If anybody who has finished the game send me his checkpoints files from all the missions and I paste in the folder "pc_profilesaves", It will work?, is considerated a cheat?
If you really wish to backup/restore local saved game files, use GameSaveManager for this.
All this I explained is exactly how I am able to continue to play games like STALKER2 and KCD2 while not updating said games to the latest patches. I have Steam Downloads configure as to only queue updates when I don't use the PC (like 11am-12pm for example) then any game updates show up under Downloads as a queue system, then X them out so they are no even queued to start at all. I disable LAN/WIFI, load up Steam, once Steam is up fully, disable Cloud Save Syncing in Settings. Enable the LAN/WIFI and then quickly after this, launch the game I want to play but do not want to have patched; then by the time the game loads up, the Internet connection is established and thus I can still use web browser, YouTube, etc. while playing said games. All while forcing them to play un-patched. When you exit such a game with a pending game update, in the Downloads section of Steam the game update gets pushed up to queued once again, simply X that out. It'll stay down the bottom and not ever be forced on you as long as you do this sort of a trick with launching Steam while LAN/WIFI is turned off first.
