Bloody Halfaya Pass - Help

I'm stuck in the Halfaya pass and am wodering how to get to the last objective.

I have done it once and yet had to start my game again and now can't rememer how to do it.

There is a dusty roadway north of where it shows me at on the map:

and yet this has an invisible wall so I cant go down it.

The map shows me facing the 3rd objective over a canyon but I've gone everywhere I can think off to get to it but can't.
Anyone help here?

For the last objective you need to take a different road, going to the SECOND canyon pass at the left of the U shaped icon that is the highest on the map you posted.

If so, this is where I hit an invisible wall and can't get down it.

If I am in the right poisition it must be a bug or an event I haven't triggered or something naff.

There is a snipers nest close to the ravine, (just to the right of the black box directly under your position marker), and you have to shoot across it and hit the explosive barrels.

He does actually tell you this as you enter the area, well he tells you he can't reach the canon and has to find another way to destroy it.

Thanks Vipa.

I can't possibly go into all the problems I have experienced not least in the lack of info as to how to complete a level - so thanks to yourself and 'Major Problem' I have now managed to move forward to the next level, at freakin' last :-)

Glad to hear it and no problem.

Just wish I could move forward but since the update, I can't even play the game now. It worked fine, (10 hours in), before patch 1.02 and now it just locks up after the 'Launcher' has launched.

You should verify integrity of game cache and restart Steam. The update went fine for me and I just finished the game.

I've verified 3 times and also completely uninstalled and re-installed the game. All my other games still work fine, so I just don't know what is causing it.

I've emailed Rebellion and 'HOPE' to get a reply. A couple of others have had the same issue to I noticed in the PATCH 1.02 sticky thread.

Wow, that's so weird. Have you set Steam and the game to Administrator?

I'll try that, but like I said, it worked perfectly before the update and as far as I am aware, nothing has been installed or uninstalled inbetween last playing and the patch.

Well, the only other thing I can think of is that an antivirus interfered with some of the files. :/

That's what I though, but I completely removed the game and my save file and went into steam and deleted the Sniper3 directory and then ran ccleaner and cleaned out my register and any other files that needed doing, and still nothing. Darn annoying to say the least.

Indeed. In the meantime, let me suggest that when you restart, you stick to the highest difficulty possible.

The invisible wall is where you go to after you have destroyed the 3 mortar cannons, if you still need to destroy a third then from that invisible wall if you are looking north you will go left then further north to get to the last mortar cannon, that invisible wall is where a (SPOILER) will spawn for you to kill then you exit right there at the invisible wall
