So how long is it?
Been thinking about getting this one, but the reviews are too mixed for my taste. Some say it's fun, some say it's boring. Some say it's very short, others... well, haven't heard anyone comment otherwise on that one. So how long is it? I rarely replay anything, so replay isn't interesting to me. Neither is multiplayer. As a pure single-player, finish-once type of game, is it worth the price?

I'm sure you can blast through it under 10 hours, if that's your thing. I'm at 25% after 7 hours on a higher difficulty and I played V2 a lot.

I'm not one for blasting through, so maybe I'll give it a shot. :)

I meant that if you use the sniping aids, lower the AI and such, you can probably go through the missions fast enough without dying a lot. I prefer a harder challenge and experimenting in these games.

You can get it significantly cheaper else where, seen it for almost 50% off

It's always better to buy a legit version, otherwise you might end up with nothing.

I regret pre-oredering this game. paid 29.99 and I actually like V2 a lot more.
Even after all the complaints about what was wrong in V2 rebellion still did not listen.

I like the game very much and it is worth the prize !
The grafics are beautyful and the gameplay is what I was hoping for.

I just finished the game, campaign time says 6 hours, game percentage 39%, so thats the remaining collectibles and side objectives taking up the remaining 61%. I played on easy, but for future plays i will increase the difficulty. Game isnt that long, should have been a couple more levels i reckon, ah well still good game. Increasing the difficulty and replaying levels is where you get more play time, and i will do some MP when and co op when my friend gets the game.

Its pretty much par for the course lengthwise for the style of game since about 2005. Its not Skyrim. The campaign is not very long. 8 missions with each having a few optional tasks and a few mandatory tasks you have to complete. I've got just under 12 hours playtime and completed it on Marksman difficulty just a little while ago (within the hour). Some of that time was spent exploring/looking for collectibles and that sort of thing and Ive got an hour or two in Survival mode, which is a horde mode. Very little multiplayer so far. I tried to stealth a lot, and did a lot of Loading Last Save to try to stealth sections as well.

If you're only going to play the campaign and blast through it on a "normal" (Marksman or Cadet) difficulty, you're going to get through it really quickly. If you take your time to explore (and the levels are HUGE) time is going to add up. On release day, I found myself spending at least an hour in Mission 3.

I had V2 on 360 before I had it on Steam and I enjoyed going and playing on the higher difficulty levels, so Im definitely going to be doing that here. I also enjoyed the challenge maps with V2. I also still have the Kill Hitler DLC for 3 to complete. All in all I feel there is a lot of replayability here, espc with the single player stuff thats going to be coming out for DLC in the future + you can play the entire campaign in co-op, but if all you want to do is play the campaign and not bother with the meta games (hunting for collectibles etc) and play on a lower difficulty level, you'll be done with it quickly.

I really enjoy the game despite some faults and I'm definitely going to be putting more time in.

Its under Campaign. At the bottom of the campaign menu is "Downloadable Missions" or something like that.
