how do you know the game is boring ?when you havent even purchased it? If thats your attitude towards the game why post such derogative comments about it when you dont even own the game.You are in no postion to even comment on the gameplay.

Well, it's hard to make tactical advancement and preparing a shot exciting. It may look boring because it's not a run and gun shooter, but in reality it's the exact opposite.

You have to use your brain in this game, how to conceal your shot, how to shoot if you can't conceal it, how to lay an ambush with tripmines, landmines and other stuff.
You also have to use your brain in case you can't use your rifle, because you are in a building. It's not that easy to get close enough to an enemy to use a stealthy kill with your knife or the welrod silenced pistol.

I bought the game, played it and am pretty happy with it.

I bought the game, played it and am pretty happy with it.

I am pleased with it also despite a few glitches .

I dont know. I usually get the right impression just by looking at some gameplay. Maybe il pick it up when it will go on sale and bugs get solved in the meantime. But anyway this sweet looking game deserved more action IMO.

More action in what regard? More run and gun? The character doesn't have the health for it, he must act stealthy and smart to survive.

I can't personally seem to finish it. I go back to the game, play for 10 minutes, more of the same, then exit out. Its been like that for a week. I like some of the changes they've made, maybe it's the texture pop-ins and terrible AI that doesn't immerse me in their world.

I just don't understand all the hate for this title. Maybe I'm just a sucker for these sniper games? Sniper 3 looks and plays great. I should finish it up tonight and I'll probably start the campaign again. Few bugs aside, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Nobody is hating on this game, Mr. Krinkle. They're expressing their feelings on the game the way Rebellion asked them to. Nobody is bashing your precious Sniper Elite. I enjoyed V2, a lot. I just don't like this one. I like the changes they've made, love the graphics...aside from the terrible texture pop-ins. It's a lot of fun but it runs dry for me rather quickly.

It must be because of cod and battlefield. Damn.

It doesn't feel as fun as SE2 was. There's a lot more emphasis on stealth which makes the game feel more like an off-brand Hitman game than it does SE2 to the point where you're sneaking around with the Welrod far more than you're actually sniping... in a game about being a sniper.
