How to do a clean restart of the game
Yes i can start a new game but i will keep my collectibles and rank and i do not want that!
With clean i mean not 1 collectible not mission achievement and beginners rank.

I really really really want to do that and it is startiong to annoy me greatly that i cannot seem to do that.

To wipe your service record you will need to delete the files stored on the Steam Cloud. Here's the (unfortunately long-winded) process:

- Exit Steam.
- Go to your local save folder, this will be something like C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Sniper3\PC_ProfileSaves
- Delete the folder you see in there.

In order to delete the files on the cloud server, you need to bring up the "Cloud Sync Conflict" dialogue box. To do this:

- Go to your Steam folder and go to \userdata\[steamID]\238090 (this number is Sniper Elite 3's AppID).
- There is a folder called 'remote' and a file called 'remotecache.vdf'
- In 'remote' keep clicking through the folders until you get to some .cld files.
- Open these in notepad and delete their contents so they become 0kb files (if you simply delete them they will be replaced, but doing this creates the cloud sync conflict).
- Delete 'remotecache.vdf'.

- Start Steam.
- Right-click Sniper Elite 3 and go to Properties > Updates and make sure Steam Cloud sync is enabled.
- Launch the game. You should get the "Cloud Sync Conflict" dialogue box.

- Before you click any options, go back to Steam\userdata\[steamID]\238090 and delete 'remote' and 'remotecache.vdf'

- In the "Cloud Sync Conflict" dialogue click "Upload to the Steam Cloud".

- Start the game.
- Press alt+tab back to the steam client and disable Steam Cloud sync for Sniper Elite 3.
- Exit the game.
- Exit steam.

- Go back to Steam\userdata\[steamID] and delete the 238090 folder.

- Finally, start Steam, enable Steam Cloud sync for the game, and start the game. Your service record should have been wiped.

Phew, hope that helps.

I tried this 3 times but couldnt get it to work. So here is what I did.
First I disabled steamcloud for the game, and then closed Steam
Then I deleted all the files (local and userdata 238090)
I opened up Steam again started the game.
I played untill the first automatic savepoint and closed the game.
I closed Steam and opend it up again.(just in case)
I enabled Steam cloud again and got that "Cloud Sync Conflict" in the game browser
I started the game and uploaded local files to the Steam Cloud.
Thats it.
Downside is that you have to put all the binds in place again.
Hope this helps.

What do you mean by 'binds' in your downside?

Thank you. This was very helpful.
Question, though: What are the 'binds' in mentioned in your "downside"?
