Halfaya Pass historical discrepancy
From what I can tell it's at least November 8-16th, 1942. In the mission Halfaya Pass you can see it's guarded by mostly German troops. Sidi Barrani was captured on the 9th and Tobruk re-captured on the 13th, by this time Rommel was falling back hard time and left Helfaya Pass to a small occupation force of Italians which fell on the 10th of November. The British tank wrecks can't have been recent since by then Rommel had retreated back to Tunisia. So, my question is why isn't Helfaya Pass in Allied hands by the time Karl gets there?

The narrative in this game barely rises to comic-book level, so the lack of historical accuracy can't really be a surprise. It's a game and it's full of absurdities, like the ability to destroy a Tiger with a Garand, or a tank so big that it can carry a naval turret. You have to suspend belief a little bit and if you do the game's mechanics and challenges will reward your time fully, IMO.

I'm revisiting WW2 through as many fronts as I can by month, I was curious about the dates which unfortunately SE3 is annoyingly unspecific about when it takes place. I'm less concerned with the gameplay inaccuracies than I am with the lack of specific dates that you would see from the first three or so Call of Duty's.
